You're keeping up your metabolism. That is why they say to eat frequently, just smaller portions. Like keeping wood on a fire.

    140.9 yes. AM, 141.1 today.

I'd say the weight loss is done - now I need to figure out how to maintain.....

Seems simple enough to figure out how many calories I need. I imagine 1800-2300 depending on exercise.

Yea, I know what you mean. I put on five pounds in the last eight months - just through not focusing on exercising and letting my portion size creep up. It really scared me. But, I've lost three of those pounds and I'm on track for the other two. The biggest thing for me is not freaking out and thinking I've blown it and then having an eat-a-thon.

The walking thing at lunchtime has helped build exercise into my day more and just the basics - cutting back on sugar and not snacking on bullshit. You can never take your eye off the ball I guess :shy:.

Hey - and good going on the weightloss Meat. Like HB, I never knew you had any to lose!

    199#

down 28# from 227# since mid May

July was a bad month for my weight loss. July 3-8 in San Francisco was a gluttonous time of revelry. The last 2 weeks my best friend flew out here. We went to some great restaurants and ate a lot of fat awesomeness. Then Comic Con doesnt afford healthy eating options. I expected July to be a maintain-at-best month. So I am pretty chill to be back at 199. 9 more to go.

As I near my goal, which was based on what my dr recommended I am realizing that was probably too high. She said 190#. I think I could go to 180# or maybe #175. I mean I still got a bit of a gut going on, not a big one but it could be more toned... we'll see
