    I never read that comic book.....I don't really get it. Was it a bad movie version of the original? Or do you have to have read the comic to get it?

    Just rented it, saw it in theaters. What about it don't you understand? It throws a lot at you, but I think it is pretty easy to follow. It's not like the Big Sleep, more like LA Confidential.

    I guess it was a bit difficult following the liberties they took with history.....who were the superheroes (where did they come from), were they regular folks and if not where did their powers come from? Why were the masks outlawed (i'm sure they explained but I seemed to miss it somewhere)? Why did Comedien go to the old crooked ear dudes house....maybe I should watch it again.....there is a lot to take in.

    Superheroes were just regular people with the exception of Manhattan. They were regular people sick of crime. The masks were outlawed because public sentiment turned against them. The comedian went to moloch's place because he felt like that was the only person he could talk to, his best friend so to speak.
