Cliff Lee a Phillie!

    The Phillies have traded a hand full of prospects to the Indians for Cliff Lee who happens to be the Cy Young Award winner last year. All he did was win 22 games for the tribe. The Phillies gave up Lou Marson (AAA catcher) who IMO is the big dog of the trade! Physicals on all involved will have to be made to make the trade official!

    Good deal for the Phillies. Got a #1 starter and gave up nothing they really wanted to keep to do it. I look for the Red Sox to sweep up Halliday and Victor Martinez by the deadline now.

    Halladay and Beckett would be fucking nasty. It would suck royally for the Jays to have to face Halladay on a regular basis. If you have to trade him to dump salary trade him out of division if not league. Funny thing is the Lou Marson, catcher the Indians got probably won't be a starter for them for years if ever. They already have their "catcher of the future" in Carlos Santana

    Phillies have two of the best lefties in the game, solid trade for them.
