" Chandler is a demonstrably worse offensive player than Okafor, and his one offensive skill -- throwing down dunks off pick-and-rolls -- doesn't seem to mesh terribly well with the Bobcats' personnel."

huh? how many moving screen violations did Okafor have last year? he cant set a pick.

Yep, screen and rolls is another thing we're gaining. The more I think about it the more I'm happy with the trade (assuming Chandler can stay healthy, obviously.) What did Okafor ever do in Charlotte anyway? We slow the whole offense down for him when we have two of the fastest PGs in the league. With Diaw at the 4 we're built for speed, now with Chandler we should be able to open it up offensively and defensively.

    Here's a positive write-up from ESPN counter-pointing Hollinger's previous article...

Okafor to me was never an offensive marvel. More than one time he didn't get double digits points scored which for the money he was getting paid is unacceptable. It would definitely be a better deal if Chandler can stay healthy. If it helps Bob Johnson sell the team them it's a win for the Bobcats.

What? Thomas was making terrible deals and the Knicks were bad long before Brown got there.
