You got that right! I've had an occasional problem with the lower back, but nothing ongoing. My trouble is usually in the upper back & neck area. Car accident many years ago injured it, so it's more suseptible to injuries. Working at a computer for hours at a time doesn't help that either.

I've been used to stopping work periodically to stretch to help that, but working out as I am now is helping it more. Except when I screw up the other end of my spine.

Fwiw, I've got arthiritis in my lower back, stretching exercises are doing wonders to strengthen surrounding tissue and taking the pressure off the spine . My back is the strongest part of my body. Yaaa and *sigh*. :)

Don't forget about the abdominal muskels. Strong abs will help to avoid back issues.

    I am not a doctor.

DAMN! Arthritis is a bitch, & I would think the lower back is one of the worst spots to have it. It's good that something helps. One of my doctors has arthritis through most of her body. Had hip replacement surgery a few months ago. She works her butt off, but I can tell she's in constant pain. Stuff like that makes my problems look pretty puny.

Excellent point. My abs have always been my weakness in terms of weight control & fitness. It's where the fat heads first, & the hardest spot to keep in shape. I hate it. I'm trying to give some attention to everything, but the abs are what I'm concentrating the most effort on.

    :gnorsi: :bong_hit:

My BIL told me weed didn't contain anything that would kill pain. I said maybe not, but as long as it separates my brain from it a bit, that would do.

I've got a super-intelligent buddy(60+yo)with muscular distrophy, really bad, confined to a wheelchair. He swears weed helps him make it through the day.
