It's a good point. Lowe has a history of starting out hot followed by a slump and then closing hot at the end of the season.

The Braves need to hire a local American Legion team to supply hitters for the club. I'm not sure they couldn't do better than the team Atlanta sends to the plate day in and day out. What a waste of pitching...

Another strong outing today for Tommy Hansen. 4-0 is a pretty good start !

I'm still wondering where the hitting has gone. I know this isn't the '27 Yankees we're talking about here but still, they should be doing a lot better than we've seen so far. I wonder how many games the Braves have wasted good pitching on to lose because they can't get runners in? Think Terry Pendleton's job status is in jeopardy?

Rumor is the braves will make a big trade with Oakland before the all star break, sending Jeff Franchour and 2 minor league pitchers to the A's for Matt Holladay. I hope this plays out.

If they do I hope they make sure they get a contract extension agreement with him before they finalize the deal. I don't want another Texeira scenario..
