What happens to the people of this world that worship a different religion other than Christianity?

First, when Jesus was crucified and died Jesus went into the opposite side of the gulf and preached the Word. Jesus preached the Word to people that went all the way back to Noah. Many accepted the Word and Jesus brought them out to the right side where the presence of God resides.

God is Long suffering and wishes not to zap any one. Those that die today not knowing the word will be given an opportunity in the millennium to accept the Word and truth and be brought out of Gehenna or Hinnom and live on the side of the gulf where God resides.

Who will go across the gulf and teach the word? The Elect will be given the opportunity to go to their relatives and teach the word and if their spouses/relatives accept and repent then they will be permitted into heaven where God resides.

He sure did zap quite a few in Old Testament days! He could be continuing to zap & just not taking credit for it . . .

Seriously, to each his own, religion-wise. That one sentence just tickled me for some reason, & I couldn't resist.

That is all up to God. The only way to know for sure though is to accept Christ.

A clear picture of the gulf is spoken of in Luke 16: 19-31.

What happened to the rich man and poor man when both died. Lazarus (poor man) ended up on side where God resides and the rich man ended up on the side of gulf where those that did not know God which is the gulf where Hades is located and no one from this side can cross over.

vs 22: "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.

vs 23: "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

vs 26: "And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'

    :two-cents:

gulf - an unbridgeable disparity (as from a failure of understanding); "he felt a gulf between himself and his former friends"; "there is a vast disconnect between public opinion and federal policy"

You need to worry about your own trip and quit trying to be savior to the masses. If your deal is so great people will notice. You all don't have to be a bunch of Billy Mays's.

PS: You've done such a great job so far showing how wonderful religion is. :handjob:
