right thing to do, bad way to do it. you don't make him rehab for 2 months and work his ass off to make his first start in single a, pitch a solid 6 innings, tell the front office he's ready only to find out they want him to retire, he says no I'm not retiring - so they released him.

The Dodgers will take him out of the bullpen

    Agreed.

As much as I despise Glavine as his was the face I saw day in and day out during the last strike, I wouldn't mind him coming to Philly so he can beat the two teams he played for. The Mets and Braves

My pre-season fears are looking to be correct. The team is just not getting it done with the bats. Jordan Shaefer was not ready in cf but I like McLouth even though he is struggling. Kelly Johnson and Frenchy are having tough times too. I still think that Johnson can be a good player but Frenchy has me very concerned that he will develop as he should. Escobar has had some brain cramps of late but I still think he has a very high ceiling. The team has waisted a lot of good starting pitching so far and have a tough part of the schedule coming up. FRUSTRATION !!!!!

Jeff Francoeur is gone, he needs a new scene anyway.

The Braves are attempting to trade him according to recent reports. The Marlins have shown interest but they refused to trade Cody Ross.

As a Braves fan it's a tough pill to swallow, but the "Baby Braves" of 2005 is turning out to be a great disappointment. Langerhans didn't make 2 years before getting traded. Frenchy and KJ just flat out don't look like major league hitters. Mac has been the only one that has panned out.

So much was invested in that group 4 years ago...these were the guys that would lead the Braves back to the playoffs. We're now paying the price for that.

I went to see the Braves play the ******* Yankees last night. It's so frustrating that the team is starting to hit better but all of a sudden Lowe is getting hammered. He just did not have it last night and New York pounded him. Here's hoping that he gets back in a groove like he was earlier in the year.

The sinker ball not sinking leads to Lowe stinking. Maybe he needs to miss a start so as to get some rest. Who knows?

    Hanson looks good so far.
