Who should be our number 2 quarterback if Delhomme would get hurt or benched (not likely under fox)unless we start 0-3 vs. Phil/Atlanta/Dallas

I'd take Vick if he signed for Vet Minimum

    1. Wildly inconsistent career, how has being away from the game affected his play?
    2. Also inconsistent, not sure about him in the mental aspects of the game. Went Chernobyl against the jets last season.
    3. Career backup as our backup QB sounds fine, and it will likely stay that way.
    4. They hope he can grow and maybe he will or he won't and we can find more UDFA saviors, 3 games experience is fine for a #3 QB.

I think I'm okay with McCown or Moore, but I probably prefer Moore a little.

D'oh! I was thinking Luke instead of McCown. Oops. Yeah, I meant McCown.

    Compare to Jake Delhomme

Here is Jake Delhomme's career stats 85.1 qb rating , 17,877 yds , 115 tds 76 ints undrafted with 2 nfl teams and 2 nfl europa teams Comments: not bad stats for a guy who was not drafted by 32 teams back in 1997 , but we need to address our qb for the future (Tim Tebow)and our back up for this upcoming season(Michael Vick)and still retain Jake as our starter with Matt Moore as our 3rd string QB.
