well, they say things don't get interesting until the home team loses. Pressure is on the Canes now to win both at home or this could be a short series.

Maurice was masterful in rounds 1 and 2, but I think it was a mistake for him to think his team could go end to end with the Penguins. It's going to take a much better defensive effort to beat this team.

And if anybody sees Cam Ward, please let him know there is a game Saturday and it would be nice for him to show up.

This team never does anything the easy way, and I still believe. It starts with win #1 on Saturday.

    Elaborate.

I saw great adjustments by Maurice which paid off.

My first reaction to this was "no way in hell the Canes get swept." Now I'm not so sure. Canes look tired, intimidated, and deflated. No grit, no heart, and no confidence.

I'm going to pull for them till the bitter end, but I feel that end will come sooner rather than later.

It's looking like a Detroit-Pittsburgh rematch in the finals, with Detroit taking it all again.

Canes have just run into a team on a roll. I'm not going to complain if they lose to the Pens. The two series wins against the Devils and Bruins were some of the most exciting games I've seen, especially the game 7's.

The Pens have made the Canes look like a battered, deflated team. The fat lady is warming up her voice.
