    game 7 and the triad isn't broadcasting in HD. they did Sunday because Versus had it in HD, but not tonight because the Rangers game is on Versus. No love for hockey here

    That's a bullshit call - that puck clearly bounced into the white - that was a goal. 3-0 with a period left would have been huge.

    they don't want Carolina to advance, it's better for the NHL if Boston, Chicago etc advance.

    no conspiracy theory - just a horseshit call - I haven't seen any analysts on any replays yet that said it wasn't a goal.

    Great win by the Canes. Samsonov's abuse of Chara to set up that game winner was beautiful.
    Now, if only there was the slightest bit of knowledge / coverage of this hockey series by our local sports media ( with the exception of Solarte's crew), all would be golden. Listening to the inbreds at WFNZ (how DO those hosts get radio jobs ? ) is no longer bearable. Thank god for ESPN radio on the internet.
