Poor Dwight Jones! Of all those links he worked so hard on, only one was about a NCSU football player and that one was immediately released and hasn't been seen since. Look at how many of those on carolinasucks list remained at UNC even after their offense.

The next electrical signal that happens in his brain will be the first. Is his handle of 'The Brain' meant to be oxymoronic?

Hadn't seen that thread though I can't honestly give much help there given the suck that this year has been for NCSU baseball. I think we are up to 90+ errors on the year. Basically 2/game which is the suck!!!

What mess? Last I heard, spring practice went great and Davis still has a very talented class coming in in the fall. Nobody will even care about that Hadley kid 3 months from now. Well, I'm sure you guys will, don't know why, but you will.

Minus the crowd. If Davis leaves it will be due to lack of fan support. I think he likes UNC but he is playing second fiddle to basketball. I will give Davis props and I think he is a great recruiter but my question is how much longer does he stay around before heading to a school where football is king and he can draw more than 600 fans for a spring game.

Well, Carolina fans actually had other things to occupy their time, like going down to Memphis to watch the basketball team play. I heard they did pretty well too. They will show up for football when it actually counts though, don't you worry.

Do you honestly believe that's where all the heels fans were? Honestly?

So fans rather go all the way to Memphis than stay at school and watch the spring game? Davis has to love that commitment from the UNC fan base. Duke is one of the worse football schools in America, and they had around 4,000 fans at their spring game. UNC fans are the worse at leaving early. It may start out blue but if UNC goes down, the aluminum starts shining.

Nope, not all of them, but there are plenty of basketball fans that most likely would have gone to the sprng game, if they would have had it after the tournament. It was definitely a terrible time to have that scrimmage, and Davis has already said that he's moving it back next year. They also did a piss poor job of promoting the spring game. I expect that to change next year as well. Either way, I don't see Butch Davis going anywhere anytime soon.

For the record, I'm glad so many showed up at NC State to watch football practice and to honor Kay Yow. That's a good thing for you.

So with around 30,000 students, only 600 students had time to come to the game?
