Science is a function of the evidence. it does not exist without it. Religion is the exact opposite. You sit here and deny evolution but you have zero counter-evidence to support any divine source. Zero. But don't let that stop you from arguing with me. Woo Hoo! It is why I post here!

I've never denied evolution, but I also believe in God.

Difference is, your ignorance of how methods develop speaks about yourself, not science. Science is not science if it did not work. Science works. Science is real.

Are you seriously questioning evolution? Are you a creationist - literally believe that God made the earth 5000 or so years ago with fossils and everything to mess with us?

No, not at all. Why would you automatically jump to that conclusion?

Maybe gravity isn't an exact science(?); not unlike music.

I haven't delved into the subject since jr hi, but the explanations entailing mass, weight, magnetic attraction seemed to make sense to me.

I guess two objects striking, creating a spark must be spiritually fascinating to you?:dozey:

I don't think you understand, the problem is that the edges of the universe are speeding up, not slowing down. That should not be happening and we don't know why. Science feels that is acceptable to take a leap of faith and say that we will prove that later, but as of now, you just need to trust us. Yet when someone who uses the exact same statement, that person becomes an ignorant buffoon who believes that God created the earth 5000 years ago.

I think he's more arguing that science doesn't have 100% proof either and that to believe evolution also takes faith. There's no difference in having faith in religion as having faith in anything else.
