    I doubt Jerry tries that approach again. Pep is a lazy under achiever and always will be. He will never be a team leader. Even if he goes to a team that runs a 3-4 and he gets 20 sacks per season he will still be coasting. If he gave it all he had every play like Smith does he would be the best DE in the history of the game but he is never going to do that. It is a shame really.

    Yeah, ability has never been the question with him. It's a matter of 'want to'. His 'want to' runs hot and cold, more so on the cold side. I guess that is why he's requesting a trade to other certain teams in order to discipline him in the art of bringing it every down. Peps has always been coddled here in Carolina and that is part of the problem.
