Where is Collin When You Need a Good Laugh?

I don't think Ed Davis is anywhere close to being as good as last year's non-starting power forward Alexis Stevenson but once again scouts are drooling...

Collin asserted that

1) Losing Ellington wouldn't have been that big of a loss
2) Losing Stepheson would be a big deal
3) The incoming freshmen (Davis, Zeller) wouldn't make up for the interior defense and rebounding that was lost in Stepheson

In reality

1) Ellington was Final Four MOP
2) They won the championship, so clearly it didn't hurt that much
3) Davis exceeded Stepheson's production by:
Points: 2.4
Rebounds: 2.1
Blocks: .8
Assists: .4
Minutes: 4.3

 

I'd be really surprised if we ever saw Collin again.

He basically became a cartoon of himself. His facts (read: opinions) turned out to be suspect so many times that he had to try to hammer them home with derogatory and abusive comments. Eventually, his posts were not credible...and then he flipped out and got so out of control that LarryD had to 'put him down'...

I consider what LarryD did was a "mercy killing"....he prevented Collin from being harmful to others, as well as to himself. 3 for Collin........

 

Well I know if the Cats had somehow snuck into the playoffs we'd never see him on the basketball forum again. He rode Thelt into the ground for daring to have an opinion that we might contend for playoff contention.

He's likely still lurking about the board. I doubt that he will resurface as himself though. I agree with Gotta, he became a cartoon. Problem is that increasingly nobody cared to read his insane rants.

 

That's the thing, I think he is a smart dude but he got to a point that he couldn't control himself enough to keep from making himself sound crazy.

 

He's a ****** with mental issues who couldn't have a conversation without getting brutally personal. And he doesn't know nearly as much as he thinks he does. He's still missed, though.

 

Colon was the board's Skip Bayless. Though insightful and thought provoking, WAY too much of a total pompous, arrogant, delusional, prick of a douchebag that he ended up being such a cartoon you tended to forget his argument. And he got beat up over a message board argument. Its embarrassing to even get in a fight over a message board, but even worse if you come out exactly what you are....the loser.
