    my second favorite voice in baseball. last week during the broadcast he dismissed himself and didn't come back until late in the game. I had a feeling something was wrong

    If you were to walk in Philadelphia or Southern New Jersey at any time during the summer, you couldn't go for 2 minutes without hearing Kalas's voice. More than any one person, he was the Phillies, but was the one part that before last year you felt lucky to be a fan of and to call your own.

    Vin is the last legend to hang around. This will probably be his last year if his health holds up.

    I would include Milo Hamilton. He still does some games for the Astros.
