    Also, the glory days of the basketball forum, ha! It was just Vpkozel and Slydevl bitching about Chapel Hill vs Duke. It was the exact same meaningless garbage. There were just more threads slamming Charlotte back then because we weren't horrible.

    I assumed that when you say he's one of the elite coaches in the game, that you mean he's one of the elite coaches in the game. Top ten seems like a pretty reasonable measure of whether or not he's an elite coach. If you'd like, we can say top 20. He still doesn't make the list.

    If I were hiring a coach I'd take the following over Boeheim for sure and I don't think anyone would debate the pick...and this is in not necessarily in the order I'd rank them.

    That's 38 guys that I'd rather build my program around than a mediocre coach who's, by your own words, also a mediocre recruiter despite the fact that he coaches at one of the glamour schools...in one of the glamour conferences....where basketball is king....and the facilities are second to none...and the fanbase is as big as any other schools.

    I'm sure if I were actually hiring a basketball coach I could easily find 12 more guys that I thought had enough potential to be comfortable enough hiring over Boeheim.

    I'm not saying that Boeheim wasn't a great coach at one time. You don't become washed up unless you were once somebody. What I'm saying is that if you look at his record since winning the national championship he's been nothing more than a middle of the road coach. And he certainly is nowhere near twice the coach that K and Roy are like you said.

    you should just stop posting. more than just a little bit of a reach on at least half of them. I'm sure Bob HUggins would take comfort in knowing some retard on a message board is advocating him over a washed up coach who took two games from him this year. Mike Brey's Irish got spanked by 19 by the bum Boeheim.

    It's correct. He has about 800 wins. 250 in the last 10 years. He doesn't get near the quality of players as UConn, Duke and UNC (so he doesn't measure up as a recruiter; he does as a coach) and still manages to have one of the top teams in college basketball's top conference.


    Looking....Nope, no mention of mediocre. Very poor effort on your part. I'll bet that even your fellow morons on here are disappointed.

    Slamming UNCC? LOmotherfuckingL. Most of the threads were UNCC fans bitching about how everyone was scared to play them and how over the next few years they would be as good as UNC.
