It was your illiteracy that made me have to point out how absurd your statement was a second time. Think before we type, maybe? But, that's probably beyond you.
Edit: One more small point on that 'simple' math as you call it. According to that 'simple' math - it would be 8 > 2. Thanks for playing along, though.

With handling all the injuries like he did and splitting up minutes like he did and handling media/fan expectations the way he did all while keeping the team happy and focused - I'd say no. Roy handled this year HIS way, which only HE could do.

Because I don't agree with you, I'm cantankerous and a douchebag? Look - the K comment about getting the gold medal is ridiculous in a college basketball discussion because of the level of 'proven' talent (superstar starters on their respective NBA teams) that he had on the team. The NBA pulls all of the talent from the international teams, so there's nothing left out there to play against. But like I said - hang on to it and bring it up even when it doesn't fit within the context of the conversation. That shows that you're desperate. It's fine with me, because you are. :xyxthumbs:

Do you really want to get into a discussion about K's gold vs. Dean's gold? Just asking because if you do your research, you wouldn't enjoy that at all.

No, you're cantankerous and a douchebag because it's in your personality.

Sure, we can talk about how Dean was taking over a team that had won all but one Gold Medal in the Olympics. The one they didn't win is looked at as one of the most-disputed endings in all of basketball history, basically the Soviet Union stole the Medal.

K took over a team that had gotten their asses beat a few times. Pros didn't want to 'try out' because they were afraid of adding to the embarrassment. One of the best pro coaches in history, Larry Brown, had the team barely earn a Bronze medal. The team was down and if you don't think USA Basketball was in worse shape in 2006 than they were in 1973 I'd suggest you were the one in need of a history lesson.

In 1976 we were still invinceable in international hoops. You can't say that anyone felt that way in 2006.

Boeheim is a college coach. I hope that helps.

On a side note - Boeheim and his wife cut in front of about 8 people in front of us to get into Ford Field on Saturday. Created some Syracuse haters. Kinda funny.
