    You have got to be kidding me, this thread has been jumping all over the place. VA pointed out that the BC loss was a bad one, which it was no doubt. However, it wasn't just a bad loss for UNC.

    K can hang his hat on the ACC titles, but national championships are what he is competing for.

    K hasn't been getting the results, Roy has.

    These are stupid debates. Everyone has a different criteria as to who is the "better" coach.

    But I do think it's pretty damn cool from a UNC fan perspective that Roy is good enough to raise the debate.

    Yeah a Duke fan can only hope a successor to K can win 2 titles in 6 years. It's pretty impressive no matter how you slice it.

    That's a legitimate reason why the Tar Heels didn't win the ACC tournament, if you want to argue from the other side then do it. The Heels breezed through the NCAAs with Lawson at 100%, which is certainly a more daunting task than winning the ACC tournament. If I recall correctly, and I'm not sure why I said if because I definitely recall correctly, we beat Duke twice this year by comfortable margins. How's that for a fact?


    It was a typo. Regardless, that was Roy's first year and since then Duke hasn't been able to hang with UNC.
