    Canes are hotter than Hell on a Holiday, 5th straight win last night. They could end up in 4th place.

    The playoff races in both conferences are insane. I look forward to some great series when the post season begins. Canes even with their great play of late have still not assured themselves of a playoff spot.

    Clincher against the Pens last night. What a streak, Canes are playing as well as anyone in the league.

    Canes have won 12 of the last 15 while winning the last 8 in a row. Ward has been the best goalie in hockey and the defense has been tops in the NHL. They picked a great time to really turn it on.

    Islanders and Sabres at home then @ NJ to finish the season.

    You do NOT want to play the Canes in the first round. Hottest team in the league.

    Islanders mailed it in. ending the season vs. NJ we will be able to see what we bring to the playoffs.

    I'd think we're gonna see the Flyers instead.

    edit: Oh, you're talking last game of the reg season...we might start our backup keeper for that one if our playoff position is secure..Coach Mo said he wanted to get him a start before the playoffs
