roy does'nt talk to anyone but the kid and the parents. seems like there are some issues with AAU coaches/reps and some of these high profile players. i think that is the case here. he'll be one and done regardless of where he goes anyway.

 

If he doesn't end up a Wildcat I'll be shocked, I don't know that it would be stealing because I don't know that Duke was leading with Wall, it was almost a given he would end up at Memphis.....would I want him at Duke sure, do i wonder about him as a kid and all his issues, very much so. I think Roy would have the same concerns as probably K does...but I dont know that Roy needs him that badly unless he thinks his PG position is not progressing (assuming Ty leaves)....

FWIW, I think Wall is playing everyone other than Calipari.

 

I think the consensus is that Ty and Ellington are gone. I'd be shocked if either stayed. Davis said he was staying, so we'll see on that one.

 

at lunch i was told Davis was projected 4th....don't know about the truth in that but I did read where he said he was staying...but May said the same after the 2005 game.

 

Thus my 'so we'll see on that one' comment.

i was qualifying the "projected 4th rumor" by saying that i had read that he said he was staying....as not just say...I heard at lunch that blah blah blah.

 

yeah - but May was a junior, not a freshman and had just won the MOP of the final four. He went off the last half of the season and would not likely have a better season to improve his draft status. No reason to even compare Davis' situation to May's.

Who was the kid that UNC signed from North Carolina but he got busted for selling dope at his high school and Roy canceled his scholarship. I believe he ended up at Oklahoma State.
