Tough call. Over all Hansbrough would be my best guess. Lawson was the better player this year but not up to this year.

Do you start Hansbrough over Worthy or Daugherty?

I was going top 5 regardless of position. For me in no particular order
    1. Jordan
    2. Ford
    3. Worthy
    4. Hansbrough
    5. Walter Davis

You are putting Hansbrough that high because he stayed 4 years as opposed to 3? I can't put Hansbrough above Perkins (I know he's a 5 in college,) Worthy, Wallace or Jamison. But I can see rewarding him for the scoring title and staying all 4 years, and getting a ring which Wallace and Jamison failed to do.

If we're trying to make the best TarHeel starting five though, I take all four of those players before I take Hansbrough. I don't even consider any of the other starters among the list. Lawson had a great year, but I don't even put him ahead of Felton, much less Ford.

Forgot about Jamison he'd definately be ahead of Tyler. Rasheed Wallace I could give a shit about

Yeah it's hard to justify putting a 2 year player without a ring on a Top 5 list. Wallace was pretty dominant which is why I named him, but I wouldn't put him on my Top 5 Tarheel list either.

Might be easier to take the players who's jerseys have been retired (named National POY) and go from there

Lawson>Kenny Smith>Felton>Phelps>McGinnis>Cota>Lebo. So yes, Lawson is all-time point guard for "my life" (85-09) UNC team. I Never saw Ford play.

Yeah it depends on what you're looking for, the most dominant starting 5, or the 5 players who contributed most to UNC Basketball.
