    I don't think so. Dean had it all. He was an innovator, a great in-game coach, and great recruiter. Roy's on his way, but he's not > Dean. Yet.

    Gotta agree with UNCoverDukeEasy (I feel dirty saying that).

    I'm not saying when everything is settled that Roy won't eventually be considered greater than Dean in my book, but not yet.

    Yeah it's a good run but it's not 7 Final Fours in 9 years with 2 championships and 4 Championship games.

    Dean somewhat rebuilt UNC and College BBall, Roy hasn't exactly done that, he's recruited well....Roy is on a great Run but as someone above said, Smith was in innovator.
