On tv the whole Tarheel team with Coach Williams talked to Jim Nance and Clark Kellog on tv, like they do with the winning team after the NC game. I didn't watch the whole break to see if they did that with Mich St (the interview sounded micced so likely it was on in the Dome.) Just seemed odd, although I don't watch the Final Four as closely now as I was for awhile. I know there's plenty of time for interviews, it was just the group/team aspect of the thing seemed a little out of place. Seems like it's normally reserved for champions. But maybe they are doing that at the National Semifinals now though.

 

of course a lot of that sloppy play was in 10+ point leads, not in high pressure situations. UNC is the better team, but when they were sloppy, Villanova was sloppier. I also don't know if they can do as much perimeter pressure with Suton inside.

But, UNC is playing as good defense and as much hustle as I've seen in years, and they definitely have a hot hand in guard play and shooting.

 

In that venue, 60,000 mich st fans wont seem any more hostile than Cameron. I expect a ten to 15 point win for UNC-CH.

 

I have been waiting for this to happen for four years. Hansbrough gets hammered and no call is made. He goes off and pitches a fucking fit. The guy is amazing, he guy gets elbowed, gets his nose broken, gets his eye blacked, gets his tooth knocked out, and he never complains. Tonight, tonight, let out what has to be some rage.

 

I don't give a damn about the crowd being pro MSU. Get up on them by 15-20 and they'll shut the fuck up. Heels by 15

 

The 'Nova fans certainly weren't a factor. Off to the game.
