It'll be curious to see what he can do against better talent anyway

It will be and "haters" have said that Steph would not be as good if he played against better talent day in and day out.....we'll never know, just like the argument of UNC did not want to play Pitt in the FF....we'll never know, but with Seth we will and it may be a good pick up by Duke or a bad one and the haters can say..."we told you so"....It will be 2011 before we know for sure.

I'm not saying anything about Steph. Your comment was that Seth was better than Redick (comparing Freshman years). Your comment above is 'based clearly on game play'. Clearly on game play? That's your opinion based on watching them play, I'm assuming. What else could that mean? So yeah - your eagle 'eye' is saying that Seth is better than Redick as a freshman based solely on 'how they play against the players they are playing against'... As good as your 'eye' might be - the stats and the situation for those players say otherwise.

I can't believe you're really standing behind that idea at all... wow...

Seth possesses and showed more over all ability to SCORE (not just shoot) than Redick did as a freshman, Redick was a jump shooter who shot when open, he did not drive, hell he did not even come off screens much his freshman year...he developed that over his career, Seth has most if not all of that already.

Considering i've missed maybe 3 televised Duke games since 1989, I quite well remember the buzz cut round faced t-shirt wearing freshman that was JJ Redick.

I know you are not talking about Steph, but you are comparing competition (when comparing Seth v Redick as freshmen).

So, is Steph an all american since he played against lesser competition?

Geez. Let me try to make this clearer. WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT STEPH.
    Steph <> Seth

I'm wasting my time here, but you're really confused...

To which i am asking if you say playing at Liberty means that he can't be as good of a freshman as Redick....

I ask, does that mean his brother (Steph) can be an all american playing at DAVIDSON?

    you see the correlation?

that was a mistake the last part should read Seth not Steph.....

Seth possesses all of the skills that JJ learned at Duke.

While there is no doubt Redick faced better defenders day in, day out, he was also surrounded by far superior talent. Curry may get to Duke and be a washout, but I seriously doubt he will be. He was gameplanned for, just like his brother, and still managed to drop 20 a game.

Steph and Seth are guys that score even when they are double teamed. Why would anyone risk double teaming Redick as a freshman night in, night out? They wouldn't, not when he had other guys on his team who could hit the open shot. Does anyone here really believe that Liberty has 2-3 other people who are going to be consistent threats every night? At Duke, there will be at least that.

Steph Curry is way better than Redick. I don't know if Seth will be as good, he's only a freshman. But I know he can put the ball on the floor and hit jump shots, something Redick could only do one of as a freshman.
