I actually agree with you. It's going to take one heck of a game from Nova to stick with the Heels. What I've been wondering, though, is do they have another game like that in them? What usually happens in the tourney is any team can be another team on any given night, but it doesn't repeat itself. Let me say this in simpler terms for interestedidiot - I think Nova played HUGE against Pitt and pulled off a pretty big upset there, I am just wondering if they can play THAT big again. Pitt's team was very, very good and that's about as good as I've seen Nova play this year (especially because of the way Pitt has played in the tournament - which is better than how they played during the season).

I'm sure you've watched more Nova games - can they do that a second time against a team that has more weapons than Pitt?

The "big wins" um would you not say the same for UNC? as streaky as Ellington has been all season the basket could get smaller for him no?


Nova has GREAT guards, guards that can get to the paint and guards that can shoot from 3.....UNC will have to pressure the 3pt line IMO...though i still think UNC will win in a close game....85-80 or something.

I think the difference is in streaky 'players' and a streaky 'team'. UNC has been playing very well as a team lately. If one guy isn't scoring, there's others that step up. You saw that in the Ok game. 'Nova played very well against Pitt, but I just don't know that their entire team can put together another huge game, collectively, like that again.

Which is why I was asking the only one that's probably seen more than 2-3 'Nova games this year.

May very well be, Nova did finish 5th in the BE, (but i dont know their schedule).....They run a similar offense to Duke but have more athletic players at the 1 and 5......Remember UMD beat UNC and did not have a player over 6'7 on the floor, but they were solid at the 1 2 and 3 positions.
