I think it's a dumb move for him. I don't doubt he can play in the ACC, but I think going to an already guard heavy team wasn't a great decision. Their offensive style does fit him well though. I wish he would have committed to Davidson from the beginning, imagine those two lighting up the NCAA together.

    They aren't 'guard heavy.'

    They aren't even 'shooter heavy.'

For a team that only had three people that could score a bucket on a consistent basis people sure do talk about them like they are the 2001 Blue Devils. In two years Duke will only have Senior Nolan Smith and Junior Elliot Williams, both combo/point guards not shooters. Plus whomever else they bring in obviously.

I'm excited to see what Curry can do in the ACC, I'm sure he'll be the best shooter we've had since Redick.

That's exactly (practically word for word) what TDD is saying. The dookies are crowning Seth Freaking Curry as their next great shooter. You really think he'll be even close to the caliber of Redick? I don't think he'll even be as good as Trajan Langdon...

And they have two highly ranked guards coming in the class of '10.

Seth Curry is better than Redick. Even if he isn't as good as Steph, he can still fire at will and can drive the lane. I don't think he's as good a defender as Steph is, but he is smart and skilled.

But, your scope of basketball knowledge is very limited.

This is the shit I'm talking about, was the verbal jab necessary. No. To say that Seth Curry will "only" be as good as Trajan Langdon means he's still gonna be pretty fuckin good, Langdon averaged what 18 ppg as a senior? We actually had a civil discussion going here.

he said "best shooter since Redick".....you really need to pay attention in English 101......it simply means that since Redick Duke has not had a good "shooter" on the team.....jaysus.

Just glad to see everyone else is picking up since ive been gone to lunch.

So, will they go and retroactively make Seth Curry a McDonald's All- American now that he has transferred to Duke?
