I liked Danny a lot more last year, I think he had trouble adjusting to the pressure situations. He showed up huge against OU and was the main reason they won that game, especially in the first half. He strikes me as a potential stud at 2G in the NBA. But I think Henderson is better overall right now and will likely be a solid starter in the NBA. He just has a weak supporting cast.

Also, Chapel Hill doesn't generally play great defense and it is usually their downfall. But they were on top of it against OU. The defense slacked off a lot in the second half, but by that time OU was so rattled they were missing the wide open shots. I know Chapel Hill won easily, but if there had been just one person willing to nut up and hit the big outside shots, that wouldn't have been a 12 pt win.

The 05 championship team played solid D, they weren't flashy but they got it done, especially Manuel and Noel.

May was an anchor in the middle. They are soft in the middle like most of Roy's teams are. Sure, Griffin is a freak, but he was busting their double teams like nobodies business. If they had just one guy who was partially on in that game from outside the arc, it may go the other way.

They are soft defensively, but they nutted up against OU. Villanova is a better team with less interior talent. Chapel Hill fans should feel very blessed that they don't have to play Pitt. While Chapel Hill is more talented, they have Fields and Blair. Blair would eat them up inside and would be able to kick out to Fields. They aren't strong enough defensively to shut two guys like that down.

For the record, I don't think 'Nova will be an easy game at all, but I'm happy we don't have to play Pitt.
