Where does James come in, as another failed Duke player? I agree.

I don't pretend to know what makes a good coach, I just believe Duke could use a little fresh blood from outside the program. You think James, Chris Collins, or Steve Wojechowski is going to stand up to Coach K or offer him ideas that he didn't in fact teach them? Those players never really had another coach after Duke, I don't see what they bring to the bench besides attitude.

I know Dawkins developed, Capel was a given knowing his pedigree (but he had sense enough to go be an asst coach elsewhere, broadening his knowledge,) but not every player will make a great coach.

Speaking of Snyder though, I was thinking about him a couple of days ago. Wonder what he's up to, now there's a former player I wouldn't mind seeing return to the Duke bench.

given the NCAA's disdain for him (Snyder), i don't think K is willing to take the risk. Last i saw he was coaching in the D league...he really messed up with some kids at Mizzou....

I was mentioning James as a recruiter, not necessarily as coach.

Maybe that's part of my problem as well. If there were fewer interestedmorons and more DJ_Tet's, this may be a more civil rivalry.

I never jumped into these discussions until UNCBendmeOverEasy started all his blabbering bullshit, for the most part I can have a civil discussion about Duke/UNC with anyone, you are the one that has the issues and if you go back over the history of this forum, it is UNCBendmeOverEasy and UNCdicksuckingFever, who 1) Start threads about Duke (Dook as they spell it) and then flame about how they suck and blah blah blah....I don't think once i started a thread about when BC beat UNC or when Wake did, so don't go trying to make yourself look better when all this shit points back to you and when everyone calls you out for being a complete douchebag you attempt to take the high road. I ain't buyin what you are sellin!

I'm proud of how you checked your spelling that time. Still some errors, but it's a good start - you'll get there. Hooked on phonics really works.

Look back at the early threads, Corky - I showed up YEARS before you when the dookies were giving crap to the Tar Heels. It's pretty evident that no 'real' basketball discussion happens here - there are plenty of other good boards for that. I've never hidden the reason why I'm here.

Third grade comeback - nice. Surely someone as intelligent as you can come up with something better than that.

Just answer me this, where did you attend and graduate from college?

Simple question, answer it and I will not return.

But you do take plenty of other jabs at things to do with UNC, so what's your point?
