Margie is kinda hot.

 

I think it's the culture itself that's reprehensible, and Hendrickson is obviously wrapped up in that and reprehensible in some ways, but even he is conflicted at this point, having been away from there. I also don't find the wives to be bad at all, but they're each different kinds of examples of how that culture victimizes women, yet sort of provides them a support network. I think the husband is much worse off than the wives in that family.

 

And he's the leader. He's forced his children to live as liars.

 

I know, and that's terrible. But that's why I find it interesting as a show. I think that, as wrong and misguided as the polygamy thing was for them, he made his commitment to that whole family and he should not hide them, even at the risk of his business so that they can actually feel like a family and honest people. Of course, that also comes with potential legal ramifications. He's got a lot of complicated choices to make.

 

My wife loves it. I've tried to watch it with her but I can't hack it. Mormons kinda give me the creeps.

 

Great show.

 

Margie is way, way hot. Evidently that episode with all the Temple stuff last week really pissed off a lot of Mormons.

 

hard to believe after all that, they just let Nikki back in, as if they just had to wrap it up.

 

I don't know that she is just let back in. I'm sure there are going to still be issues.
