    It's always been like that. There are just a ton more UNC fans than Duke fans. There are a lot more NC State fans than Duke fans too. That happens when you graduate 10x+ the amount of people every year. Duke is also a private university, so I would wager that more of their student/alumni base is from out of state than either UNC or State. So it would go to show that there isn't a ton of Duke grads living in or around Greensboro, certainly not compared to UNC.

    if you're referring to the Big East, it's not "my conference." I went to an A-10 school. "My team" sucks.

    But you are right about the Big East being a much better conference than the ACC. I'll give you that.

    when you say "Duke fans" are you referring to the ones who went to another ACC school but hopped on the Duke bandwagon when their alma mater started to suck, or are you referring to the fans who actually have some kind of affinity to Duke?

    Most Duke fans that didn't go to the school have been fans since childhood. I'm sure even going to an A-10 school you could figure out how that works.
