Lawson/Ellington are looking great in the 2nd half. Davis is also starting to assert himself on the boards and in the paint, something Hansbrough and especially Thompson haven't been doing today. IMO Davis should be starting.

I like Davis a lot being so long but he doesn't hustle as much or it seems like it. Ellington has been money in the second half. Hopefully Lawson doesn't have a kiwi for a toe tomorrow

Hansbrough is the type that has never gotten much better from the first day he stepped on campus. Teams have figured out how to defend him...very few teams ever double team Tyler anymore.

Hans and Green should carry Lawson's books around campus the rest of the semester in thanks for what Ty has done for the team.

Agreed. What was pissing me off is Hansbrough was getting out rebound'd. His hustle and work ethic is great and he has developed a 10-15' game but he can do more.
Glad the next game is on Friday, one more day for Lawson to rest the toe.

    On to Memphis

Reminds me of former ACC leading scorer Reddick in that way. They were just so good as freshman that it appears their game isn't getting better, but just as that was false for Reddick, it's falso for Hansbrough. Of course neither were the type of athlete who could dominate college ball, so even though they added to their repetoire over the years, the outcome isn't a ton different.

You almost take them for granted as a fan. Both were so consistent in their offensive games that it's easy to see that 25+ on the board every night and just expect it.

He was absolutely dominated in the post. It was an uninspiring performance, the guards carried the team especially in the second half.

If Lawson hadn't played it would have been a different story. I'll take those numbers any day. Ask Danny.

Although true, he was better the day he stepped on campus than most players after 3 or 4 years.

He is pretty consistant, but on the rare occasion that he plays against an athletic shot blocking center or team on the interior he does seem to struggle. With that said, TH was the leading rebounder in the game for both teams. LSU just made some nice adjustments at the half and came out strong.

Roy actually made a smart move yesterday in playing Davis a lot more and sitting Thompson when LSU had the run.
