    i don't think there ARE alternate time paths. i think that's faraday's point about not being able to change things. of course, as soon as he says that he goes and tells desmond to talk to his mom and suddenly years later desmond "remembers" being told that... still, presumably, the idea is that they are really in their own history.

    Fro thinks Ben isn't dead, just wounded. He really can't be for it to be to this point or they would have all been back in their old lives if he died.
    Or something like that... I dunno. It's approptriately named 'lost' because that's what I am after each episode these days.

    Ben ain't dead but I still believe that Sawyer and Kate are going to end up being the Adam & Eve in the cave from season 1.

    I'm curious why you think Sawyer/Kate vs. Jack/Kate.

    I read somewhere (could have been here) the skeletons are how the writers are going to prove they knew where they were going with this from the beginning.
