I-Bonds

Anyone putting their money into I-Bonds? Any input on this or why I should use something else? Interest rates on saving accounts have been plummeting.

 

I looked at them a couple of years ago but never pulled the trigger. I can't remember why though. I may look into them again as I have a CD maturing next month and the rates are going to really really suck.

Thanks, so the most recent I Bonds are paying 5.64%. Good in today's rate environment. You have to hold the for 12 months. I see why I disregarding them back in the day though, the rates sucked.
