Agreed. Hopefully he'll hit a '3' (imagine the symbolism) and it'll be over early.

Stewart did a lot of his damage in the Big 8 before Williams ever got to Kansas, and right when Williams got to Kansas, Missouri was placed on probation and then throughout the 90's they were inconsistent as crap. I think they only made the dance three or four times the whole decade. They had one good season 93-94 where they got their clocks cleaned by Arizona in the Elite 8, which is the only time the whole decade they even made it past the first weekend. The other 3 times they got in they were like an 8 or a 10 seed. I think besides Kansas the only other Big 12/Big 8 team going to the Final Four was the OK State Big Country team that lost in the Final Four. Tubbs might've taken Oklahoma to a Final Four before Williams even got there. When Williams was in the Big 12/Big 8 the conference was weak as crap.

What the heck are you talking about dude...I don't see the South region as an easy road to the Final Four...Carolina is in with the likes of Gonzaga, LSU (who is underrated in my opinion), Syracuse (who is playing great basketball right now), Oklahoma (who has been ranked in the top 10 all year and possibly has the player of the year on their team), and Clemson (who has given Carolina fits the past couple years)...so I don't know how you and some other people on here can sit and say Carolina has the easiest bracket in the tourny...In my opinion PITT has the easiest bracket, because Dook won't make it past the sweet sixteen, and there aren't any other threats in the East region other than maybe Villanova.

By the way, any thoughts on whether or not Lawson will play on Thursday? I read where Roy said Ty had to practice Tuesday and Wednesday to be able to play. I am thinking he will play but his minutes will be limited in the first round game against Radford. It would be tough to have to play the second round against either Butler or LSU without the most important player on the team. I go to school in Greensboro and I am going to watch the Carolina practice tomorrow afternoon in hopes of seeing Ty involved and moving around pretty good...

    LET"S GO HEELS!!!

Will they stop the game when he breaks it? I was wondering if they would had it been a critical basket in the final moment against FSU.

It's all relative. Not saying it will be easy, just easier than in the other regions.

that's nice. too bad you're one of only a handful of people that thinks that way. UNC gets to play in Greensboro the first two rounds (against Radford and either Butler or LSU). Can't believe anyone is touting an SEC team as being "underrated." that's gotta be a first. Clemson lost four of its last five (including GA Tech); you can put a fork in them.

The East is easier? It's amazing how Tarheel fans always let their bias make them look retarded. So you're saying a second round matchup against either OK State or Tennessee is "easier" than one against Butler or LSU? Please. Compare the potential sweet 16 matchups. The 4-5's in the east are Xavier and Fla State. In the South: Gonzaga and Illinois. Dook is playing better than Oklahoma. Granted, Syracuse is on a roll, but no one would serisouly argue that the Orange is better than Villanova.

the only bracket relatively close to the South in terms of ease is the west.

so what the fuck, are you gonna answer the question? Whose balls did Roy have to suckle to get in that cupcake bracket?

Tony says that as if JJ REDICK overtook a UNC player for the title.
