Memphis got hosed. No way both Pitt and UConn get a #1 seed since they lost so early. I always look at the top 4 teams in each region to decide who is in the hardest region.
    East
    1. Pitt
    2. Duke
    3. Villanova
    4. Xavier
To me Villanova is better than Duke and Charlotte beat Xavier. Pitt should come out easily

    South
    1. UNC
    2. Oklahoma
    3. Syracuse
    4. Gonzaga
Gonzaga is not a 4 IMO yet Oklahoma is a beast. Syracuse got hot at the right time. I wonder if Oklahoma has anything other than Griffin?

    West
    1. UConn
    2. Memphis
    3. Missouri
    4. Washington
Memphis is young but damn talented. I am not all that impressed with either Washington or Missouri

    Midwest
    1. Louisville
    2. Michigan State
    3. Kansas
    4. Wake Forest
In my opinion the hardest region.

Is it me or is this one of the weakest tourneys in a while? Missouri a 3? Washington a 4? Syracuse? Give me Pitt, and UNC and anyone else can have the field

I don't agree about Memphis. Their league is horrible and you can't even spin it to make it any better than that. It's not their fault the league is bad but if they were in the ACC or the Big East they would be sitting with about 6 losses right now or more. Some bubble teams got knocked out when Mississippi State, So Cal, and Temple won their league tournaments. Neither of those 3 could have gotten in otherwise. It should be a hell of a tournament.

I think the hardest region has to be the Midwest.I could see wake Forest beat Louisville.I also think that the south is the easy-est
    region

I love how the "number 1 overall seed" gets fucked every year.

    Louisville can't be happy.

I dunno. Last year kinda dispelled that. Not that the league is horrible, but that Memphis can go very far even if it plays in a weak league.

And it may even help that the league is weak and the kids dont have to play as hard physically and with the other conferences....they may have fresher legs coming into the tourney.

Memphis usually schedules tough OC opponents to help make up for the weak conference opponents. I didn't keep up with it this year so I don't know who they played OC. I just know that last year proved that the weak conference excuse didn't hold up.

I agree but last year can't have anything to do with it. Based on all the numbers, Memphis plays is a terrible league compared to the ACC, Big East, even the not so Big 10. Memphis may in fact win the whole thing but they should not be seeded higher than UConn.
