    Lawson banged it in practice on the Friday before the Duke game. Williams said had the Duke game been on Saturday Lawson wouldn't have played. I am not down playing the ACC tourney loss, it sucks but a healthy Lawson for next weekend means more to the tea,m IMO

    Every ACC school cuts the nets down after winning the ACC regular, NC State fans may not know that, it's been a while since they've won the ACC regular season title. To win it in the ACC is the 2nd best accomplishment.

    UNC was a #1 seed losing the first game or not

    if I were an NC State fan I'd hold onto any positive thing that's happened recently (if you consider 1989 recent) as an official stat or not. Otherwise 1987 is the other "real" trophy you can look back to.
