I have been catching some of the games. U.S.A. team looks pretty good. When you can rotate Jimmy Rollins and Derek Jeter at shortstop, you're a contender for the title. Can't believe the Dominican team lost The Netherlands?

Chipper Jones going down yesterday didn't make Atlanta like the WBC anymore. I'm still not sure about it, I like the concept though. Alot of tough teams, good pitching teams out there.

He's been utterly useless so far. 0-7 with 5 strikeouts in 2 games.
Glad to see him hit the bench.
It was funny to see us beat Venezuela. Somewhere Hugo Chavez is pissing himself with rage.

I thought of the bastard during the game too. Perhaps if he had attended his team would have played better. The fear of a death squad can do wonders for your concentration.

Just imagine playing for Cuba and living up to the pressure that if you lose, you're in danger of the same fate.

I've watched some of the games and enjoyed them. We are about to get into some pretty testy battles both athletically and politically.
