    Roy does a good job of recruiting - always has. I'm extremely optimistic about the next 2 years in particular because these two classes could be among the best we've ever had.

    To me, Brandan Wright served his purpose at the school (if Roy knew beforehand that he was going to leave after 1 year), which was to help Deon develop. In fact, I'd say (and this is arguable as they had very similar stats) that Deon had a better game off the bench against Georgetown in the Elite Eight than Wright did as a starter.

    1 and done's happen, but UNC seems to make the most of it when it does happen, which isn't very often.

    Yeah, I was going to post this story as well, fantastic story. I remember his father playing but didn't realize his backstory, and only vaguely remember him dying. Definitely a tale that could have turned tragic, really makes you want to pull for Smith.
