I'd rather have Anderson than Griffey to be honest. He should make a good platoon player in left. The times I've seen Griffey play over the last couple of years has been painful to watch.

He is the wild-card. You pretty much know what you'll get from everybody else. If he can drive in some runs and the pitching stays healthy for a change, this should be a competitive team.

I'm actually a bit optimistic about the pitching if they can stay healthy. This team is going to struggle scoring runs though unless Chipper, Escobar, and Frenchy all have monster seasons.

Let's see, Chipper is already ailing. He has strained an oblique while playing in the WBC. I have thought that Chipper could stand to shed a few pounds of bulk and do more fitness work in the off season. At his age he could stand to be a bit lighter and more flexible.

The Braves extended Chipper's deal today. I'm glad that he will play his entire career in Atlanta but I hope he don't pull something while signing the contract.

Pitching might be fine this year but the lack of power is going to hurt unless some guys step it up bigtime.
