Well all the ABCers always seem to point out UNC's preloaded excuses...

    ..how's this one for Duke?

Sounds like he is saying they have no chance. He basically came out and said Chapel Hill was better than them after the last game.

When a UNC Coach has said similar in the pas the responces have been. "Now UNC has a built in excuse. Its a win-win situation for them. If they lose its because of injuries, and if they win its because they over came all the adversity."

I've just always felt that was BS. I'm just pointing out there's no real difference between what K is saying vs what UNC coaches have said in the past.

Still have to prove it on the court and take care of business.

There's a whole LOAD of similarities between current-day Duke and late 80's UNC. The inability to get out of the Sweet 16 notwithstanding.

Duke does not have a quality big man and it is hard to beat the best teams that way.

Duke has fallen off, but overlooked in that is when Duke was absolutely dominating the ACC (98-2003 or so) the conference as a whole was terrible. It's a much deeper conference today.

Duke would have lost to NC State had they played them in the late season. :hat2:
