    You are taking the top 12 vs. the only 12. That isn't as balanced as you may think because of competition between conference schools when it comes to recruitment. If you took 12 out of the 16 as a random balance from top to bottom then that would work.

    here are the facts:

    top 8 ACC vs. to 8 BE: 1-1 (Number 2 Pitt beat number 4 FSU; number 6 BC beat number 7 providence). It's a wash.

    top 8 ACC vs all of BE, 8-3; top 8 BE vs. all of ACC 4-1. winning percentage-wise, 73 percent for ACC, 80 percent for the BE. But, since you're a fucking retard and I feel sorry for you, I'll call that a wash too.

    Half of top 10 comes from big east. 20 percent from the ACC. the Big east simply has better teams and is the better conference. pretty much any "independent" and unbiased party agrees.

    You can't compare the top 12 Big East teams against the entire ACC. That compares the bottom of the ACC against the middle of the Big East.
