Not at all. The last time I checked I had a 780 credit score. Not to brag about it but you don't get this high a score by not assuming your responsibilities. However I have a lot of friends that are now struggling because through no fault of their own they no longer have a job. Many have maxed out their credit cards in the past year or two, hoping things would improve and they would find a job. Regardless of what you may think there are a lot of good people out there hurting.

Big Biz saw the crash coming a long time ago and had Congress pass that new bankruptcy legislation. You can never just walk away from debt now.

You might be surprised about that reb. I have a good friend that just went through a Chapter 7 and he said it was really very easy. He first went to a bankruptcy firm who went over his assets and liabilities to see if he qualified. After determining he did qualify he was sent to a bankruptcy court and he said the judge asked him 3 short questions before issuing the court order that wiped out all his unsecured debt which included credit cards, medical bills etc. All he has to pay for now is his house and car.

I am not struggling to pay them off. I am kicking in an extra thousand dollars per month on top of my minimum payments.

I decided to put it all on a credit card. That way I can afford use the credit card to fix my car should the transmission fall out of it.

The shop told me I need a rebuild but it is still running good. I am going to drive it until it starts giving trouble, just in case they are wrong.

That's because he qualified. It's harder to qualify now and that's a good thing. When I was in the lending business I came across multiple doctors that although rich, declared bankruptcy to get out from under student loans. Didn't matter to them since they didn't need credit, or so they thought. I turned the assholes down for a loan and they got all pissed at me. Stupid fuckers.

I'm gonna buy me a big old bag of cocaine. Sell part of it, and snort the profit.

I am not going to drive it more than 10 miles from home until I get it fixed. I have another car I can drive if I need to. I bought one for my stepson but he will not get his driver's license until June.
