    Possibly. Nationally it's not recognized, but the fact that NC State was UNC's main rival up until the late 80's/early 90's really makes it hard to defend that the rivalry isn't overrated.

    I don't see the relevance there. It's pretty much just a bunch of people who didn't go to either school arguing on the internet. Its a good rivalry, overrated still.
