Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but in the game against Clemson I saw an awful lot of Duke's team last year. A team that could barely bring the ball up the court, much less create a decent shot. A team with an exhausted Singler and a slumping Scheyer. A team without a good PG option, or a good inside option. At least last year's Duke team had Paulus shooting bombs, he's not doing that this year. Strange to see a player regress like he has over his career.

And yet not only are people picking Duke to come back and beat up on Miami (heard a lot of 'I wouldn't want to be Miami this weekend', no mention that Miami beat Wake just as badly as Clemson beat Duke,) but some are picking Duke over UNC (Fowler today for one but I've heard it on the radio too.) I just don't see it.

I think Duke's fade is starting early this season.

No matter the year or talent, it's Duke vs. UNC - anyone can guess how it will go down, but it's impossible to predict.

Duke back at home vs. Miami, they have to figure things out - there's no option.

Dook's fought back into the game. It's about time. Was starting to think the game on Wed. would be a huge letdown...

Good game. Adrenaline is a heck of a thing. I didn't realize this but the announcer said only 6 guys played for dook in the second half and there was only one substitution. That's part of why they falter down the stretch - kids playing too many minutes..

Thank god I don't bet, I would have lost a lot of money at halftime. I thought for sure we were getting blown out, really impressed how they fought through.

Paulus finally made some plays for us, big time start for him. Scheyer too made some shots, a good sign for Wednesday. Nice to see McClure boarding so well too.

you couldnt analyze a bunch of gotdamn blind men walking up steps. Given the fact that the Zone had Duke all out of sorts and they began to break it with that line up, K stayed with it, he didnt need to sub them b/c foul trouble was not a problem and Miami wansnt moving guys in and out either. Other than todays game the starters dont average more than 30 minutes....so you take one game where they have to play 25 minutes of the 2nd half and OT and call it "playing too many minutes" you are just pissed that they did not fold like you thought they would and they fought back on the back of the "back up PG and RS senior that averages 2pts/game"

I dont think YOUR UNC team blew out that juggernaut that is the 7-10 UVA Cavaliers......you are scared, admit it.
