I liked the first gears better than Halo3 as well, but I haven't played that game in so long it may be a lot grayer than I remember.

I just hate that when I play Halo, one guy can own an entire team. In general, faster fingers win out over strategy. In gears, you have to work together or you die.

I've been told repetitively on here that you need to keep it in a well ventilated place. I hope that wasn't your issue.:bigok:

Sorry, I couldn't resist. This seems the prototypical response given to everyone when they have problems with their box, no matter what. I felt it was due.

I don't know that it's faster fingers so much as skill. Personally I like that, which is the same reason I became addicted to CoD4. I remember being the last man alive in one match of headquarters on Bog and hearing all my teammates yell at me to go in, but I waited until most of their team was inside the building, then shot one, stabbed another, shot another, stabbed another, and then turned a corner to kill the last guy, all to "Holy Shit!"s from those teammates. Unrealistic, sure, but still awesome. I prefer gameplay where you're balls out instead of waiting in cover for the right opportunity.

    CharSFNiners:
Ventilation is very important, but mine had lasted over two years before it finally bought the Ring of Death, so I can't complain too much.

oh, no. The RED RING OF DEATH. The problem is the Video Chip or Processor melts down from the heat build up. I have heard they are currently using lower voltage chips in the new systems so I hope my sons will not have this happen. He also only plays on the 360 for 2 hr at a time.
