I'm sure he will. He got a DUI on wine coolers. What kind of a fag goes to jail over something called kiwi-strawberry?

I'll miss making fun of him doing Panther Pre-Season games. I've never heard a grown man sound more on the verge of tears for three hours in my life.

Since you cared, yes. I laffed. Last montage clip was more of Jim then GW!

WFNZ in now dead to me. MSP was the only bearable show :twocents:

I liked MSP. The first hour was pretty good as was the last hour. They kind of stooped in the middle for the drive time stupidity.

Being in Charleston now makes me appreciate it. Yes it gets old if you listen everyday.

Most people liked MSP. That's never anyone's problem with FNZ, it's their crowning jewel. Or was, rather.

I think most people that are happy that Gary is gone, will regret it in about a week. The guy cared about the city of Charlotte and he cared about our sports teams. Which is more than I can say about the current group of people at WFNZ. I'm sorry to see the show go. I'll follow him on Sirius.

BTW WFNZ has produced two national sports talk radio talents. Steve Czaban and now Gary Williams.

I was truly sad at the end... You could tell how much these dudes enjoyed working with each other, especially when Gary and Jim said their goodbyes at the end. Nothing at all like when Francesa and Russo parted ways on WFAN.

That's not quite accurate. I heard Czaban nationally on Sporting News Radio years before he ever came to Charlotte.
