    If Sidd Finch hadn't opted for a musical career playing the french horn he easily would have been the best pitcher of all time.

    Nothing beats Finch, but the fact that the same stunt can still be pulled off (Masal Bugduv) in this era of technology is amusing.

    I think Barry Bonds should be in anybody's top five. It's hard to admit, but even before the juice, 400 homers and 400 steals, seven gold gloves. Power, speed, average, defense. Griffey Jr. should make a top ten, I know he's tailed off, but being a force at the plate and maybe even more so in the field make him great. This also in the modern era with relief specialists and players from all over the world.

    The Babe might not have won Gold Gloves in the outfield even if they were awarded back then, but his pitching stats are insane, coupled with his work at the plate.

    It's hard to pick one.
