    Your right . . How come Raleigh-Durham has 3 sportstalk stations (99.9FM, The Buzz and The Bull) but we still only have 1 ? ? ? ? Why doesn't Danny Fontanta take his WDYT-1220am and turn it into another sportstalk station? He has a good location in Uptown (street side studio in the Grant Thornton Building). I'm sure there are enough local/regional talent in the area where he could get something up and running fairly quick.

    6-9am: Czaban's Morning Show from FOX
    9am-Noon: Local Show
    Noon-3pm: Jim Rome
    3-7pm: Local Show

    I mean really. That many hours of McClain is suicide. The MSP was the only redeeming quality of the station.

    I actually like Frank and Buck. I guess becasue they both played and know what they are talking about.

    Agreed.

    McClain might be tolerable (I said 'might') if he calms the fuck down, quits laughing all the time, and gets down to serious sports talk.

    I cannot imagine this being "permanent". There is no way in hell that Buckner and Garcia will sustain an audience. Hopefully they're just filling in until a national show/shows fill that slot.

    Actually it's more like 2 or 2 and a half. Buzz and Bull are both owned by the same company, and story has it that the Bull only came into existence as the result of a power play when Triangle Sports Talk 1090/1490 was still in business... Both stations had horrible reception, and a bid was made on 620 AM, which has a much stronger signal... Somehow the Buzz's ownership got wind of it, and bought the station, and slapped Sporting News Radio broadcasting on it. Regardless, I still found morning sports radio here unbearable.

    Plus, the Triangle has Adam Gold, who actually is more annoying than Celania.

    Yeah, not a lot of folks like Gold around these parts, but he's the program director for one, if not both stations. So he is probably not going anywhere anytime soon.
