    Raw celery by itself is good. With other foods cooked or raw it sucks.

    Well yes, I eat soup. Fortunately there's usually not enough celery in it so that I can taste, seems a waste of time adding it.
    Celery crunching in tuna salad makes me think of weird stuff, I can't eat it.
    Celery with pimento cheese is OK.

    celery, onion & carrot is essential in pretty much every soup
    or
    celery, onion, and peppers
